John Skelton, founder of The Crown Painters and the voice behind @thecrownpainter, has been announced as an official finalist for Content Creator of the Year at the 2026 Golden Finish Awards.
Reaching the final from hundreds of entries is a huge achievement. It recognises not only the standard of the finished work, but the commitment to showing what professional decorating really involves: careful preparation, honest advice, specialist knowledge and pride in every detail.

The Golden Finish Awards celebrate outstanding talent and standards across the decorating profession. The winners will be revealed this October, when John will join the rest of this year's finalists for the awards celebration.
